On the 12th of October 2014, attending the ceremonial activities organized by the local civilian and military authorities in Oradea, marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Oradea in 1944, H.E. Mr. Mircea DUŞA, Romanian Minister of National Defense, visited the NATO HUMINT Centre of Excellence (HCOE).

The HCOE Director, COL (ROU A) Eduard SIMION, presented during a walk around the mission, the training and education infrastructure and the logistics and accommodation capabilities, underlining the achievements and the future projects of the Centre.

The minister of defense expressed his appreciation regarding the outstanding infrastructure considering HCOE as being “the most advanced educational capability”. He also congratulated the director for the exceptional achievements of the centre.
