On the 25th of July 2024, the NATO HUMINT Centre of Excellence was honored to host the visit of the United States Ambassador to Romania, H.E. Ms. Kathleen Ann KAVALEC.
The HUMINT COE Director, Colonel Iulian BARBU provided to the distinguished guest a comprehensive overview of the Centre’s mission, main activities and projects in support to NATO.
The U.S. Ambassador thanked the Centre for the opportunity to learn about its role and efforts to answer the Alliance’s requests for support, and congratulated its personnel for the outstanding work on behalf of the Alliance’s collective deterrence and defense.
As stated by Colonel Herbert MILLET, Deputy Director of the HUMINT COE: „The Ambassador’s visit to the Centre is a testament to the strong and enduring partnership between the USA and Romania, and highlights the collective efforts to ensure stability in the region”.
