On April 9–10, 2025, the HQ SACT Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA ToE) carried out an on-site visit to the Human Intelligence Centre of Excellence (HUMINT COE) in Oradea, Romania, with the purpose to assess the institution’s alignment with the NATO Quality Standards.
The evaluation had a particular focus on the implementation of Continuous Improvement Process and the robustness of the Quality Management System in delivering Education and Individual Training in support of NATO.
Following the assessment conducted during the visit, the QA ToE will formally recommend the HUMINT COE for UNCONDITIONAL ACCREDITATION for a full six-year accreditation cycle, pending for the final approval of the ACT Deputy Chief of Staff for Multi-Domain Force Development.
For the past 15 years, since the accreditation of HUMINT COE as a NATO COE, the training and educational programs provided by the Centre have played a crucial role in strengthening the Alliance’s HUMINT capabilities.
