Colonel Sefik TOPUZ Turkish Air Force   NATO HUMINT CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE DEAN OF ACADEMICS

Colonel Sefik TOPUZ was appointed as NATO HUMINT Centre of Excellence Dean of Academics on 01th of August 2022.

After his education in Military High School he graduated the Air Force Academy, Aerospace Engineering Department in 2000. COL TOPUZ was assigned in different intel positions. At first he served as an intel officer respectively in F-16 squadron and Weapons&Tactics Squadron, followed by duties as Air Force Base CI Section Chief, the national CAOC UAV coordination officer, Turkish General Staff PSYOPS Battalion Team Commander, and Intel officer in Agean Army HQ. Prior to his assignment at the NATO HUMINT COE his last appointment was CI Branch Head in the Intel Division of Turkish Air Force HQ.

COL TOPUZ during his service life has received Staff Officer Course in National Defense University, Turkiye, and Joint Strategic Intelligence Course in Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), USA. COL TOPUZ’s awards and decorations include “Non-Article 5 NATO ISAF Medal”, “Non-Article 5 KFOR Medal”, “Non-Article 5 Afghanistan Medal.

COL TOPUZ was born on the 17th of February 1978, is married and has two sons.
